One postdoctoral Research Associate position is available for an outstanding and ambitious materials physicist or Chemical Engineer to undertake research in the field of 2D materials-based membranes. The posts are tenable from 15th January 2025 for up to 12 months. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team of researchers who have been at the forefront of graphene research since its discovery in 2004. Using our state-of-the-art laboratory, measurement, and microfabrication facilities you will drive forward a new project to investigate mass transport and separation properties of 2D materials-based membranes and capillaries.
The successful candidate will hold, or be about to obtain, a PhD in materials physics/Chemical Engineering or a closely related field. Experience in graphene and related materials synthesis and characterisation, membrane science and technology would be advantageous. You should be well-organised and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills. A strong publication record in internationally peer-reviewed journals is also essential.
