Middlesex University is recruiting for an exciting new post: Lecturer in Theatre Directing, with a focus on either Research or Practice.

Theatre at Middlesex University has a long and prestigious track record of high quality teaching in explore all aspects of making theatre.
Students get the opportunity to explore acting, design, writing or directing, with a chance in the final year to specialise in one area. We have a strong tradition in visual and physical theatre and applied approaches and are currently pivoting towards reaffirming the value of text-based approaches and the exploration of the classical repertoire. In such a way, our students get to explore the full spectrum of current industry practice.
Students learn and practise their performance skills in a supporting and nurturing environment. Our campus has excellent facilities including a specialist rehearsal and studio spaces for students to train in a professional-level environment. Our students gain experience of the theatre industry through placements with professional venues and companies. You will join an established team of experienced academics and assist the team in delivering the curriculum and enhancing the student experience.
