ABOUT THE POST
An opportunity has arisen within the School of Human Sciences for a full time Lecturer in Sport Psychology and Coaching. You will be at the start of your career, have a degree in Sport Psychology and/or Coaching, practical experience of and expertise in sport coaching and ideally experience of teaching the subject in Higher Education
Our vision for our provision is to drive education for social justice, supporting representation and opportunity in sports professions. Key to our provision and strategic aims as a civic University is engagement with our local communities which you will have opportunity to do. This supports the development of sports professionals who represent the populations they work in.
You will contribute to the delivery of our undergraduate Sports Psychology and Coaching, Sports and Exercise Science and Sports Therapy and postgraduate Sports Therapy course courses through making a significant contribution to teaching and module leadership. By joining a dynamic and enthusiastic team of academics who invest in the enhancement of the student experience, you will have opportunity to supervise student dissertations and support improved student outcomes.
Maintenance and further development of professional skills and expertise will be encouraged and supported.
