Faculty
Paramedic Science is in the School of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery. This vibrant and dynamic school has a focus on excellent education and research informed teaching and practice. Led by the Head of School the Professional Lead for Paramedic Science is a member of the School Leadership team, together with the other professional leads in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, radiography and midwifery. The Paramedic Science team has 9 staff who deliver our 4-year sandwich degree paramedic programme as well as contributing to other programmes in the faculty, such as Advanced Clinical Practice. Our paramedic students have given us 100% student satisfaction in the National Student Survey, and they value the strong collaboration we have with the Yorkshire Ambulance Service. We are seeking an experienced paramedic academic who can lead a team, implement academic excellence, enhance our existing provision, and develop new programmes.
