The Team
Academic Quality is a key team in the Student Academic Administration directorate, working in close collaboration with academic programme teams from across the University in relation to quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
The Role
This leadership role will work closely with the Academic Registrar and senior colleagues to ensure that the University has a robust framework for the management of high-quality teaching and learning and the maintenance of academic standards.
Required Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
Experience of leading high-performing professional support teams in a complex organisation
Experience of developing and delivering process change
A well-developed understanding of academic regulations and policies
A detailed understanding of quality assurance within the higher education sector
The ability to work co-operatively and the confidence to lead, advise and negotiate successfully within and beyond the University
