This Research Fellow post is within the Advanced Radiotherapy Group and the Prostate Cancer Centre of Excellence (ProEx) at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) funded by Prostate Cancer UK.
We seek to recruit an ambitious and highly motivated Research Fellow with expertise in radiobiology, in vivo models and prostate cancer. The focus of the role will be to deliver laboratory-based investigations aiming to demonstrate the potential benefits of photon FLASH radiotherapy in the management of prostate cancer as part of Research Innovation Award.
The Research Fellow will be a valued member of the multidisciplinary Advanced Radiotherapy Group whilst also working closely with the ProEx team and will have the opportunity to gain experience in advanced preclinical models of radiotherapy response including tumour and normal tissue models, small animal image guided radiotherapy and FLASH radiotherapy.

Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
