Description of Post

Delivery will normally be on campus and, as a condition of employment, successful candidates will be expected to be available to teach off-campus at other locations using block delivery. The post may include elements of project-based and blended learning, with online learning by agreement. Current vacancies exist in the following areas:

Entrepreneurship & Innovation
Retail Security & Loss Prevention

Please note: The postholder will be based at the ATU Donegal, Letterkenny Campus.

Essential Qualifications

Minimum

An Honours Degree (2.2 or higher) in a relevant Level 8 degree [as specified in the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ), or equivalent.
Three years relevant post-qualification experience.

Essential

Applicants should be able to teach in at least two of the following areas:

Retail Security
Loss Prevention
Data Analytics
Information Technology/Information Systems
Consumer Behaviour & Digital Markets
Retail Buying & Merchandising
Entrepreneurship, Innovation & New Product Development

Desirable

Teaching experience at 3^rd level
Experience in technology enhanced teaching and learning
An understanding and familiarity with the Retail sector
