About the Role
The role leads a team providing specialist and technical expertise to the management of student data and the dedicated support and training for users of the student information system. The role involves managing a service which: provides day-to-day support for users; understands and interprets the business needs of its users; liaises with the student systems team on maintenance issues, testing for upgrades and future enhancements; undertakes process and development review; advising and support for all statutory returns; provides effective training and documentation; responsibility for implementing all standard and non-standard tuition fees schedules and ensuring the invoicing process delivers the correct fees and developing mechanisms to ensure the quality and integrity of student data for internal and external use.
About You
Alongside extensive student systems experience, the ideal candidate will have management or supervisory experience, a detailed and methodical approach to working, enjoy looking for innovative solutions to problems and will be able to speak authoritatively with a range of key stakeholders.
About the Department
The Registry Processes and Data Quality team provides user support and training for a number of student related systems and Registry Services processes. This support extends to users within Registry and other areas of Professional service and also to colleagues working in and supporting academic departments in the delivery of teaching and learning.
