Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a Podiatry Clinical Manager to join our growing Podiatry and AHP team at the University of Salford.  We are looking for an experienced HCPC registered podiatrist with a broad range of experience, across all clinical areas.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for developing the next generation of podiatrists and have experience in delivery high-quality, evidence based podiatric care and have a comprehensive knowledge of podiatric education. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and be a strong team player, dedicated to creating the best possible student experience.  

We deliver a range of podiatry programmes to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners and as such our team works flexibly, including some Saturdays.

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months. Interviews are expected to be held on Wednesday 18th December 2024

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of Salford University’s Podiatry training clinic
  • Develop and embed clinical policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure there is a robust governance system in place.
  • Ensure that all clinical work is carried out to a high standard and is based on a sound evidence base.
  • Work alongside the podiatry team to develop a curriculum that is both contemporary, achievable and empowering for the future podiatry workforce
  • Support students to develop and refine clinical skills and competencies
