About the Role
For informal enquiries, please contact Xiaowei Zhao (Professor) at Xiaowei.Zhao@warwick.ac.uk.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term contract (36.5 hours per week) until 30 June 2026, with the potential for extension.
The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Xiaowei Zhao, providing comprehensive project management support for his EPSRC-funded project SuperAIRE (Supergen Network Plus in Artificial Intelligence for Renewable Energy), while also supporting the impact activities of the Supergen Offshore Renewable Energy Hub.
The role involves ensuring that project goals are met efficiently, within budget, and on time. You will be responsible for managing internal and external stakeholders, developing and implementing communication strategies for both projects, and monitoring and reporting on progress.
As part of this role, you will manage a £100k budget and oversee the work of four part-time researchers across partner universities (Warwick, Oxford, and Birmingham).
This position will also require regular collaboration with senior academic staff, postdoctoral researchers, and administrative staff across multiple institutions, including the Supergen Offshore Renewable Energy Hub team.
Some UK travel, including overnight stays, and occasional international travel, may be required.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
CLOSING DATE: Tuesday 03 December 2024 at 11.55 pm
