We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled administrator to join UWE Bristol’s Academic Quality and Partnerships Enhancement (AQPE) team in a part-time role. Working as part of the Operations Team, the successful candidate will provide support across the range of AQPE’s activities, as well as developing expertise in particular aspects of the team’s work.
The Academic Quality and Partnerships Enhancement team provides university-wide support for the ongoing development and review of UWE Bristol’s educational portfolio across three interconnected areas of activity:
About you
We are looking for someone who has broad based administrative expertise, with experience of working in line with complex regulatory frameworks such as higher education. You will have good organisational, interpersonal, communication and IT skills. You will have experience of working with database systems, and of taking formal and informal minutes of meetings. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to your own continuing professional development and to delivering outstanding learning and teaching for our students.
Where is this role based?
This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed.
We are one of the largest providers of Higher Education in the South West with 38,000 students and 4,000 staff from right across the globe. We offer a wide range of employee benefits including progressive pay rates, generous annual leave and career average pension schemes as well as retail savings, onsite nursery and opportunities for training and personal development.
We particularly encourage applications from global majority candidates as we are currently under-represented in these areas within UWE Bristol; however all appointments are made strictly on individual merit.
As a Disability Confident employer, we welcome applications from those who identify as having a disability.
