Department
The Estates and Campus Services teams deliver a wide range of services for the University from catering to sports facilities, from accommodation to grounds maintenance, and from estates management to the luxury hotel, Wivenhoe House. Our teams aim to deliver a professional and seamless service to students, staff and visitors.
Duties of the Role
As part of your role as a Housekeeper you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing various communal areas within the residential areas, as well as preparing rooms for new arrivals.
Skills and qualifications required
You must have the ability to undertake domestic cleaning to a high standard with good communication skills, a positive attitude to delivering good customer service and a flexible approach to work. You will ideally have an understanding of any Health and Safety information and guidance, in order to carry out the safe use of chemical and equipment, however this is not essential as training will be provided.
It is important that you are able to undertake physical aspects of the post, and have a flexible and positive approach to work, with a professional manner.
