An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Film and TV Production to join the School of Media, Language and Communication Studies to carry out teaching-related duties such as seminars, lectures and workshops.

The School is formed of three departments: Film, Television, and Media, Language and Communication Studies, and Journalism. All three departments have a strong commitment to teaching, achieving strong NSS and graduate outcomes results.

Teaching is a key part of this role and as such you will be expected to plan, teach and assess undergraduate and potentially postgraduate programmes in media production (single camera production predominantly) and production development and creativity, taking responsibility for the delivery and assessment of specific modules. This will include organising modules and developing teaching and learning materials.

Teaching experience at postgraduate level and an interest in relevant enterprise and engagement activities would be advantageous.
