We are looking to recruit a motivated, full-time research assistant to join Dr Tetsuo Hasegawa in the University of Cambridge, Department of Medicine. The post holder will assist researchers within the Hasegawa research group on a variety of projects, and depending on their level of experience may be given a specific project to work semi-independently on. The post holder will report to Dr Tetsuo Hasegawa. The post holder will assist group members with murine models of autoimmunity (therefore completion of HO modules 1-3 would be required). The post holder will also play a more general role in organising the availability of consumables within the group and among ongoing research projects.
The appointee will have a minimum Bachelor's degree in biological science, ideally in Science related field, or appropriate experience or equivalent qualification and/or experience. Knowledge of the day to day workings of an immunology laboratory, including microscopy, tissue culture and molecular biology would be desirable.
