The Role
We are currently looking for a Technical Manager to join our Technical Services department. The role provides management of the Workshop, Printshop and Fashion Atelier spaces and leadership of the teams working within them.
As Technical Manager you will work closely with the Head of Technical Services to deliver an efficient, customer focused, technically knowledgeable and safe service which is aligned to and enhances the student experience and delivers maximum benefit for all users.
The Candidate
You have a strong background in managing a 3D workshop supporting model making, prototyping and fabrication.
You have expertise in both traditional and digital manufacturing processes and have a proven track record in developing technical resources and promoting best practice.
You have excellent people management skills and are keen to develop a cohesive team culture.
You are be able to guide teams which are professional, customer service focused and committed to development and continuous improvement
You have a proven track record of leading on Health and Safety management, creating a culture of best working practices and ensuring safe, compliant and welcoming spaces that inspire confidence in their users.
