About The Role 

The Blavatnik School of Government is looking for an organised and conscientious Programmes Officer to ensure that our Faculty’s teaching is supported by excellent, timely and innovative learning resources. You will be a member of the Programmes team, which provides administrative support to the delivery of the School’s graduate degree programmes, currently the Master’s in Public Policy, MSc in Public Policy Research, and the DPhil in Public Policy. 

Reporting to the Academic Planning Manager, you will work to deliver the Blavatnik School of Government’s degree programmes. Your responsibility will include organising the digital learning platforms and teaching resources that underpin our degrees and for supporting teaching faculty and guest lecturers.

This post is fixed-term until 31 December 2026   

About You 

This role requires the post holder to perform sometimes complex administrative coordination in a deadline-controlled environment. In this role, there is a strong emphasis on attention to detail and on working with a wide range of people, within and beyond the School, to produce a high standard of learning resources. 

You should have excellent customer service and communication skills, with a flexible can-do approach and a willingness to adapt to the changing needs and priorities of the team. 

You will be a self-starter, with a systematic, thorough and well-organised approach to work and the ability to work on your own initiative. Strong IT and good numeracy skills are also essential.
