London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for the post of Forensic Science Technician.

This position will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to work with a team of academic colleagues and fellow technicians to help shape the next batch of graduate forensic scientists.

This will involve designing and setting up practical activities for modules including biological evidence, crime scene management and processing and crime scene investigation. You will also advise on relevant techniques for investigative purposes.

About You:
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:

  • Extensive experience of working in a Forensic Science environment relevant to this role particularly the use of specialised equipment in examining various evidence types.
  • You will be knowledgeable in new techniques utilised in Forensic investigations.
  • As an excellent communicator you will be able to explain technical issues to those less experienced in using complex equipment.

The ideal candidate will be degree educated, be highly motivated and bring professional practice to the role. Experience with recreating crime scenes using virtual reality is highly desirable.
