The Department is pleased to invite applications to conduct research towards a doctoral degree at the University. Fully-funded studentships are available for outstanding applicants to this Department from any country. The Department supports internationally-renowned research programmes that address the causes and treatments of psychiatric illness, across the translational spectrum.
Research projects can be within any of these domains, or can seek to be cross-domain.

The studentships are funded by the Clarendon Fund, the Academic Futures program, and other sources.
Applicants should have, or expect to gain, at least an upper second class honours degree in an appropriate subject. The DPhil studentship stipend (tax-free) will be not less than £19,237 per annum, plus support for conference attendance and consumables.
