This is an exciting opportunity for an Information Compliance Specialist to join the University’s External Relations team.
As an information practitioner, provide professional, sound, and timely guidance and deliver training, tailored to the operational, legislative, and regulatory requirements of the University, specifically the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, Data Protection Laws, and the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (EISR).
The post holder will interpret and identify diverse business needs with the objective of developing strategic information management policy and procedural recommendations for the University. You will apply specialist records and information management expertise in collaboration with University Schools, Colleges, and Services and contribute to an increase in good records and information management practices across the University.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and offered on an open-ended. Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.
