About the Role
This is an interesting and varied leadership role, where you will have the opportunity to work with senior leaders, supporting them to lead the University and achieve the ambition of our 2030 Strategy. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the Office of the Principal functions to the highest standards. The postholder supervises the team of Executive Assistants who support the Vice-Principals, as well as managing the required administrative functions, processes and systems to support the Principal and Vice-Principals. The post holder is line managed by and works closely with the Chief of Staff, supporting her with budget reporting, projects, space and asset planning and management, events and staff initiatives.
About You
Candidates must have a First degree or equivalent qualification plus substantial experience in a similar role. This role requires experience managing a team and a busy and complex office environment. Experience managing budgets and resources is essential. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and be proactive, discrete and maintain confidentiality at all times.

The Office of the Principal is home to the Principal, Vice-Principals, Executive Officers and Executive Assistants. The Office is the focal point of interactions with key external and internal stakeholders and is central to strategic leadership for the institution.
