Oxford University Department for Continuing Education (OUDCE) is seeking to appoint a Departmental Lecturer in the Graduate School to help deliver our expanding programme of researcher skills and development training.
About the role
The Departmental Lecturer in the Graduate School will work alongside the Co-Directors to design, organise and deliver an expanding programme of training in researcher skills and development to a multi-disciplinary cohort of postgraduate students across the university and externally.
This is a part-time (0.5 FTE) position, available on a permanent contract.
About you
You will hold relevant postgraduate qualifications, including a doctorate, in a subject broadly related to the graduate programmes offered by OUDCE. You will have an aptitude for teaching, deep knowledge and experience of research skills acquired through recent scholarship, a flexible, adaptable and open approach to pedagogy and a very collaborative and supportive working style. You will be a proven effective networker at all levels both within and outside the university. A background which includes some experience of physical, natural or medical sciences is preferred but not essential.
