Admissions Selector (PGT)

Joining our committed team as an Admissions Selector you will play a key role in supporting prospective students and assessing their applications. 

About the role

Taking ownership of a portfolio of postgraduate taught courses, you will provide an outstanding experience for our applicants throughout their application process.

You will:

• assess applications in a fair and consistent way against agreed criteria
• be checking decisions made by other members of the team and assessing the fee status of applicants
• respond to enquiries from prospective postgraduate students and their representatives, providing advice and guidance
• be involved in supporting virtual recruitment activities

About you

With a background in customer service and administration, you will enjoy working in a dynamic environment where a high level of accuracy is key. Ideally, you will have worked within higher education, however, we welcome applications from other administrative backgrounds. You will also have:

• effective communication skills, ability to adapt to supporting students, academic staff, external organisations, or other members of the team
• a high standard of IT and administrative skills, including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
• an ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• an ability to stay calm and work efficiently and accurately in a busy customer service environment
