- THE ROLE -
To develop research and teaching that is complementary with the activities in the Belfast School of Architecture and the Built Environment related to Building Surveying. The post-holder is expected to provide teaching and module management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels whilst developing a research portfolio commensurate with inclusion in future research excellence frameworks. The post-holder is expected to contribute to the development of a new built environment academic programme including continuous quality review and improvement of learning, teaching and research that contributes to the delivery of the Ulster University Strategic Plan. The post holder will be assigned to a research centre cognisant with their specialist knowledge and research.
- ABOUT YOU -
- An honours degree in Building Surveying or cognate discipline
- Evidence of the ability to plan work schedules and meet time critical deadlines
- Evidence of research or professional development activity commensurate with individual career path to date or demonstration of potential research or academic collaboration initiatives that would be of benefit to the school
- Willingness to travel and participate in extra-curricular activities as required by the needs of the post
- Willingness to deliver materials in a range of delivery style and using conventional and digital mediums
