Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for full-time and part-time Learning Support Assistants to join our Student Experience and Pastoral team. If you’re motivated, ready to learn new skills and be a role model we'd love to hear from you!

The Opportunity
You’ll be providing a range of support services both in and outside of the classroom to students who have a specific inclusion and support need which will enable them to achieve and progress. We offer a large range of support to students across our college on all college sites.
Our students are at the heart of our person-centred approach, and we support all our 120+ learning support staff to develop and embed outstanding skills and knowledge.

The Learning Support Assistant Role
About you
We value the ability to build good working relationships, the ability to foster confidence and a ‘can do’ attitudes and challenge the 3000 students we support to strive for excellence. We also value practical problem solving and using your initiative in trying to make our students world a little better every day. You will be keen to work with students supporting them to access all elements of the curriculum.
