We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Programme Data Governance Manager to join the Oxford University Clinical Research Units (OUCRUs) within the Nuffield Department of Medicine, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam.
In this dynamic and varied role, you will work closely with key stakeholders within and external to OUCRU, to develop, implement, and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards supporting multiple data domains (research and operations) across the Programme to support and enable OUCRU’s cutting-edge research. You will ensure the alignment of all data governance initiatives with the vision, aims, and objectives of OUCRU. You will also be responsible for overseeing the Programme’s compliance with relevant data protection legislation, as well as leading the development of an open and responsible data culture, enhancing quality, accessibility, integration, and interoperability of both operational and research data.
To be successful in this role, you should be educated to degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant field, with demonstrable and substantial experience with either ISO 27000 (and related content) and/or managing the data and information governance aspects of large clinical trials. You will have experience in delivering data management, data security, and/or information governance training programmes. You will be able to carry out tasks independently, be proactive, show initiative, and work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. You will also understand GDPR legislation in the UK, EU, or in Asia, and its application in a complex and diverse organisation.
