The London Center for Arcadia University, based in Holborn, is seeking to appoint a Lecturer for our course “A Black History of Britain”. This is a new course commencing Spring 2025, we anticipate offering the course in both Spring and Fall semesters. The course meets once per week for a long teaching block (circa 3.5 hours) incorporating lectures, seminars, visits and other class activities.
Approximately 800 US college students participate each year on Arcadia’s Programmes through the London Center. We host first year students each year, and this course is likely to have a mix of freshman, sophomore and junior year students enrolled. This position reports to the Associate Director of Academic Affairs.

Salary
£ 3,900 plus a 3.5% matched pension contribution. A course development fee to cover preparation time ahead of the course may also be payable.
