We are the University of Cumbria, for and from Cumbria and our localities, rooted in serving our communities, with people, place and partnership at our heart.
Now is a very exciting time to be joining us because we are delivering a new "Towards 2030" strategic plan focused on making the most of our three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for our region, nationally and internationally.
Criminology provision at the University of Cumbria forms part of the School of Justice an interdisciplinary collection of programmes where students experience eclectic learning, within their own course and through association with the wider range of disciplines which comprise the school.
An opportunity has arisen for a lecturer to join our Criminology team. A breadth of specialist Criminology knowledge will allow you to play a key role in delivering and developing modules on the newly validated Criminology and Forensic Investigation Programme through a contemporary, informed, innovative approach to content development and high-quality teaching. Pastoral care skills will enable you to appreciate the needs of students as individuals as a Personal Academic Tutor.
