About the role:
We are looking for an Administrator to join our Health and Safety Department based at the Bedford College Group. As an Administrator you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students by:
Providing a professional administrative and support service to the Health and Safety team
Receiving and logging all calls and enquiries made to the Health and Safety team, responding to those that are easily directed or referring to the HS Coordinator/Advisor those that require more technical advice and support
Supporting the management and upkeep of the health and safety teams’ and electronic diary’s including all appointments and meetings
Managing the H & S Inbox reviewing all correspondence and responding in a timely manner or directing to the H & A Advisor/Coordinators as appropriate
Helping schedule, attend, as requested, all H & S meetings, obtaining and retrieving statistical data in preparation of reports for the health and safety team to present
Attending meetings to support and take notes and minutes
Producing standard correspondence for the department and being responsible for the collation, formatting and distribution of reports, documents, information and statistics relating to health and safetyAbout you:
ITQ (IT qualification) level 2 or ECDL Level 2 (European Computing Driving Licence), or RSA II word processing or equivalent
English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent)
Experience of using word and Excel to produce a range of business documents, including reports and correspondence
Experience of communicating with customers
Evidence of high performance in previous roles/jobs
Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
