The Estates & Facilities Directorate is looking to recruit three Capital Projects Managers to support the delivery of multiple diversified and sustainable projects/programmes across the 3 Greenwich University campus sites and associated accommodation facilities, aligned to an ambitious and exciting £300m Estates strategy programme up to 2030.
The Capital Project Manager(s) will be responsible for the overall management, development of design, execution and delivery of various complex Estates and Facilities Projects. The role will co-ordinate delivery of project management quality standards, championing standardised delivery processes and to include establishing gateway reviews and related governance, document management factoring timely dashboard reporting, cyclical project health checks to enable the Estates and Facilities Directorate to develop a professional and consistent approach to sustainable project management. The role will require significant liaison with internal stakeholders as part of the project delivery and will support the writing of project requests/briefs and associated business cases for relevant governance approvals.
The role will report into a Senior Capital Project Manager. The Estates & Facilities Directorate is a customer-oriented service driven team expected to meet the needs of students, members of staff, as well as external stakeholders and visitors to the University historic buildings and residential accommodation.
