About this role
We are seeking a Registered Adult Nurse to join our innovative and enthusiastic team on a permanent basis at our Chichester campus. This role will contribute to the development of nursing skills, supporting simulated learning practice and work-related learning. Lecturers will teach as a member of the teaching team in a developing capacity within an established programme of study and/or across developing areas, with the assistance of a mentor and/or senior colleague if required. The role will involve teaching, quality assurance compliance, partnership working, research and income generation in the School as well as engaging in the curriculum planning, design and leadership of teaching and research activity across all courses.
About you
You will have the knowledge, experience and skills to enable contemporary contribution to the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing programme. You will need to be an NMC registrant in good standing as Registered Nurse Adult, have demonstrable contemporary clinical knowledge required for Nursing Adults in a range of care settings, a HE teaching qualification (Associate Fellow or Fellow) OR willingness to undertake the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education/Academic Professional within an agreed timeframe together and demonstrable evidence of delivering teaching, learning and assessment.
The successful candidate will need to be motivated, proactive and engage with collaborative working both as a team and with wider partners. We aim to ensure that we equip our graduates with the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace upon graduation and throughout their professional careers. As such, we not only focus on the acquisition of caring science knowledge, but also on vital transferable skills, such as compassionate leadership and robust digital skills.
