About the role:
Imperial College’s Department of Mathematics aims to recruit a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, associated with its Mathematical Finance Section starting in October 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The Mathematical Finance Section at Imperial conducts internationally excellent research across a broad range of areas of stochastic analysis, machine learning, optimal control, and applications to finance. Applicants with strong track records of excellence in research and teaching are encouraged to apply.
What you would be doing:
You will conduct internationally excellent research in Mathematical Finance, broadly construed. It is expected that you will be able to credibly contribute to the Department’s leading MSc programme in Mathematical Finance and supervise high-quality PhD theses. You will also promote the reputation of the Department of Mathematics through scientific meetings, scholarship, and other outward-facing activities.
