The Houston International Institute (HII) at Dalian Maritime University (DMU) invites applications for English Language Instructor positions. The successful candidate will teach academic English to engineering students. DMU is one of China’s key universities listed under the national “Project 211” and “Double First-Class” University Plan. DMU is located in the Northeast of Dalian, China, a beautiful coastal city. The main languages of instruction at the university are Chinese and English.
HII is a Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run school between Dalian Maritime University (DMU) and the University of Houston (UH). HII introduces top teaching resources from the Cullen College of Engineering at UH, combined with DMU’s academic advantages on marine-related programs. HII offers three undergraduate programs in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering. The Institute's mission is to cultivate innovative, talented maritime-focused engineers who can be successful in any global market.
