Job description
The Courtauld Institute of Art is the UK’s leading centre for the teaching and research into the History of Art and the conservation of paintings, and is also home to one of the world’s greatest art collections. The Courtauld is currently undergoing a capital transformation project that will make its world-class artworks, research and teaching accessible to more people – in the UK and internationally.
The role
The Courtauld Gallery, based at Somerset House in Central London, is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Gallery Marketing and Communications Manager with a passion for delivering inspiring marketing communications that engage audiences with its collection, exhibitions, research and history.
You’ll be an excellent communicator with superb people management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to work on your own initiative. You’ll have substantial campaign marketing experience within the cultural and heritage sector, with knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing strategies and trends, and a drive for hitting and exceeding targets.
This role is responsible for all levels of marketing, from implementing communications campaigns for exhibitions and events, managing the relationship with our advertising agency and managing press events and photo shoots, to building brand awareness and overseeing audience research.
