The Aston School of Computer Science and Digital Technologies is looking for a lecturer in IoT and networking to help reinforce it research and teaching in the area. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across several areas of the computer science and/or cybersecurity curricula, and a knowledge of AI or Security aspects of IoT and Networking would be an advantage.
The school is experiencing a period of growth in terms of research activity and student recruitment in the digital sciences: computer science, cyber security, artificial intelligence and data science, with an opportunity to carry out research either within the school’s environment or within one of a number of research centres or institutes depending on the candidates specific interests. Centres and institutes include the Sir Peter Rigby Digital Futures Institute (DFI) and Aston Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research and Application (ACAIRA), but others may be of interest to specific candidates, who are encouraged to explore the University’s website for more information.
