Clinical Teaching Fellows

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Teaching Fellows at our Glasgow Dental Hospital and School which is the major dental referral and teaching centre in the West of Scotland based in the heart of the city centre of Glasgow. It benefits from comprehensive modern facilities for patient care, student training, and for education and research into dental and oral diseases and disorders. We provide staff with excellent opportunities to develop their clinical teaching skills.

You will deliver clinical and pre-clinical teaching and supervision for undergraduate dental students primarily in Restorative Dentistry but may cover sessions in Oral Surgery or Paediatric Dentistry if required.

The post is based at Glasgow Dental School in the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing, which is part of the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences [MVLS] at the University of Glasgow.

We welcome applications from candidates with current registration as a dentist with the General Dental Council and a post qualification with significant clinical experience.

This post is to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months or until the substantive postholder returns, we are looking to appoint a minimum of 3 individuals working (2 sessions per week, 3.5 hours each session), days and times are flexible.
