The opportunity:
We are looking for a global mental health researcher interested in developing a psychological support program and evaluation for a partner organisation in Sri Lanka. This post will provide the opportunity to contribute to a global mental health study in Sri Lanka working with an established and experienced team. The post holder will contribute to the design and evaluation of a support program as well as identify new areas of research related to supporting the needs of staff in research. The work will involve some fieldwork and require the candidate to be able to spend a significant amount of time in Sri Lanka (up to 2 months). There will also be opportunities to develop networks with the University of Edinburgh with an interest in global mental health and South Asian studies.
This post is 12 months fixed term, full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
