The Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) is excited to announce a brand-new role: Education Technologist. This position offers the opportunity to support and enhance IBMS’s digital portfolio and qualification platforms, ensuring an exceptional user experience for our members and partners in the biomedical science field.
About the Role
As our Education Technologist, you’ll report to the Head of Digital Education and work closely with the Executive Head of Education to deliver top class customer support for users of IBMS digital platforms. This includes providing first-line assistance for digital portfolios, responding to inquiries, creating and presenting platform reports, and developing training and guidance materials. You’ll also play a role in creating policies, streamlining processes, and enhancing our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and e-Portfolio tools.
With a blend of office days in our London location and remote work, this hybrid role provides flexibility along with an exciting role in shaping our digital learning journey.
What You’ll Do
Who We’re Looking For
You’re a digital learning professional with experience in managing e-portfolio platforms and a strong customer service mindset. You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build constructive relationships across teams and with external partners. A track-record of maintaining digital platforms with the ability to engage in evidence-based optimisation for a high-quality end-user experience is essential.
