Applications are invited for the position of Head of Partnerships and Science for the Engineered Pandemics Risk Management Programme. The successful candidate will develop and lead the Programme's strategy for impact through building and maintaining collaborative relationships with partners and stakeholders. The role-holder will lead the delivery of the Programme's communications and impact strategies as well as coordinate and ensure the delivery of the Programme's research fundraising ambitions. The role-holder will also coordinate the postdoctoral researchers and graduate students who will contribute to the Programme, focusing particularly on the Programme's biological and modelling strands. The role-holder will proactively build a sustainable pipeline of strategic partners.
Applicants must have been awarded a PhD in a relevant specialist area, including but not limited to risk studies, science and technology studies, epidemiology and molecular biology. Candidates with relevant experience working in the fields of science policy and risk studies are highly desired.
Funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance. The post is available part time or full time. Hybrid working arrangements may be discussed, but the role-holder will be expected to be based in or near Cambridge and work at least three days per week (pro rata) at CRASSH or another department location in Cambridge, unless they are required to travel to other sites as part of their role.
