We are looking for an exceptional and proactive individual to join our HertSquad team in delivering our highly successful Active Students programme. The post offers a unique opportunity for the successful applicant to develop professionally and demonstrate direct impact on the student and staff experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Main duties and responsibilities
You will plan, coordinate and be the first point of contact for the day-to-day running and delivery of the University’s Active Students programme.
You will work collaboratively with Academic Schools and Strategic Business Units across the University to ensure the Active Students programme is embedded into the student experience and offers excellent engagement opportunities that are delivered on budget, promoted effectively and have robust monitoring and evaluation in place.
Skills and Experience
You will have experience of working/volunteering in Sports Development and/or Sports Industry and have experience of supporting/organising sports programmes and events. You will have experience of leading others including peers and/or volunteers.
You will believe strongly in adopting and promoting service excellence across all programmes. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have excellent attention to detail, work well under pressure and be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, busy and vibrant environment.
Qualifications required:
Minimum of a bachelor’s or equivalent qualification or relevant demonstrable experience.
