Faculty Operating Service (FOS) - Faculty of Medicine
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the full-time post of Administrator based on-site at Aldermoor Health Centre, as part of an administrative team.
This post is part of the School of Primary Care, Population Sciences and Medical Education and is part of the Faculty Operating Service (FOS), which supports the Faculty of Medicine. The FOS is a professional service to the University led by the Associate Director of Faculty Operations. The service works to support those areas of work which provide essential services to the Faculties core business and underpins the achievement of the strategic objectives of the University.
You will have previously worked within an administrative role and hold a good knowledge of Microsoft IT packages. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, with a good eye for detail, be proactive with a flexible approach, and have the ability to work with changing priorities and workloads.
The role is varied, as you will be the first line of contact for both internal and external visitors to the Department. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, awareness of University processes and regulations would be an advantage.
Naturally, you will be able to build and maintain relationships with a variety of people across the Faculty and University.
