We are looking for a Lecturer in Education to join the Department of Education.
About the role
The Department has an international reputation for teaching and research that develops theory, policy and practice in relation to education internationally (www.bath.ac.uk/education).
We offer one undergraduate programme (Education with Psychology) as well as a range of postgraduate taught programmes (full-time MA TESOL, full-time MA International Education and Globalisation, full-time Master of Research and part-time MA Education). We also have thriving postgraduate research programmes (the MPhil, PhD and Doctor of Education (EdD)).
Students and graduates of these programmes constitute a lively world-wide network of educational professionals working across all levels of the education sector and within other governmental and non-governmental organisations.
This role is offered fixed term contract covering maternity leave with an anticipated start date of 25/01/2025 and expected end date of 24/01/2026 or the early returner of post-holder.
About you
We are looking for strong teachers to contribute expertise across our range of programmes who appreciate the value of face to face, distance learning and blended learning, and who can effectively contribute to teaching in these contexts. We are particularly looking for people who have experience in teaching TESOL.
