Leeds Arts University is the only specialist arts university in the North of England. We have contributed significantly to the development of arts education for over 170 years.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Operations, the post holder will join a small but busy Finance Team. You will carry out a range of duties as designated by the Head of Financial Operations including recording the University’s income and expenditure, producing weekly bank reconciliations and delivering cash handling training in accordance with University financial procedures; and will, at all times, comply with the Financial Regulations and Procedures, maintain a pro-active and diligent approach to fraud awareness and ensure that the confidentiality of information is maintained at all times.
To be successful in obtaining this role you will possess excellent communication skills and have previous experience in a Finance role including maintaining cash books and production of bank reconciliations. It would also be advantageous if you have previous experience of delivering cash handling training to till users and an awareness of PCI DSS compliance.
