The post holder will be an active member of the Malcolm/Boyd research team assisting in the planning and delivery of research activities for a NIH-funded project on the topic of ‘Contraception development research center to advance a novel intravaginal ring as a non-hormonal multipurpose prevention technology’

About the person:

The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following critiera:

  • PhD in pharmaceutics, drug delivery, or closely related subject; viva examination must be completed;
  • Practical experience in manufacturing and testing of drug delivery devices;
  • Practical experience in performing drug release studies and modelling drug release data;
  • Practical experience in HPLC analysis and thermal analysis of drugs and drug delivery systems;
  • Evidence of ability to plan and manage research projects;
  • Previous practical experience in supervising undergraduate research projects;
  • Ability to interact with research colleagues and support staff;
