An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business Finance team at Aston University. The team is responsible for all aspects of finance business partnering including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management information reporting within Colleges, Corporate and Commercial areas. By providing a comprehensive partnering function and financial overview, the team is well positioned to support strategic decision making across the organisation.
This is a varied role, and you will contribute to a number of key areas across the team. This will include leading the day-to-day budgeting and forecasting across the budget areas, completing month-end and year-end processes, completing external returns as well as management reporting.
The successful candidate will have relevant finance partnering experience and possess a recognised professional accountancy qualification. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, along with an enthusiasm and willingness to contribute to the development of the wider team are essential.
