An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Fire Safety Manager to join the University of Liverpool - a prestigious Russell Group university that is home to 22,000 students and over 6,000 academic and professional services employees.
The strategically important role of Fire Safety Manager is based in the Risk and Assurance team, which in turn is part of the University’s Facilities, Residential and Commercial Services (FRCS) directorate.
Working as part of the wider FRCS team, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivering Fire Safety Compliance.
Flexibility in approach and the ability to work with minimal supervision is an essential requirement of this role.
This is an interesting and challenging position, where - by working collaboratively with a supportive team - the right person can make a real contribution to the ongoing success of the University.
You should be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and be a member or associate member of the IFE or and IFSM.
This is a permanent, full-time position, working hours are 35 hours per week.
