About the role:

We are looking for a Student Services Coordinator to join us at Tresham College. As a Student Services Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students by:

• Working with the Student Services Manager to ensure effective delivery of careers information, advice and guidance to Bedford College Group Students and potential students.

• Working closely with the Student Services Manager in the design and delivery of a cross-college Careers programme for students.

• Leading and implementing the bursary process, to assess any applications for financial support and provide advice and guidance to students in need.

• Providing a personal service, offering support or referral for pastoral, health/welfare and financial matters.

• Carrying out all aspects of the role in line with TBCG culture and values.

About you:

English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent

A-Levels or equivalent 

High level of computer literacy skills

Level 6 Qualification in Careers Guidance or willingness to work towards

Successful experience of working with adults and young people, both 1:1 and in groups

Awareness of, and empathy with, the needs of students

Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds

Experience of working effectively as a member of a team
