About the role:
We are looking for an Examinations Manager to join our Exams and Achievement Department based at Bedford College. As a Manager you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students by:
Ensuring the integrity of the examinations
Having a thorough understanding of all JCQ and other awarding body regulations and ensuring their implementation
Deputising/covering for the Group Head of Exams
Line managing the examinations staff, to ensure a full and effective exams administration service for students and staff
Facilitating the delivery of all examinations at Central Bedfordshire campuses
Managing the booking and timetabling of Invigilators.
Coordinating the despatch of results/certificates and recording of achievement data
Carrying out all aspects of the role in line with TBCG culture and values
About you:
Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent; including Maths and English at grades A-C or equivalent
NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Significant experience of using computerised databases
Experience of working with confidential documentation and information
Good administrative experience of an office based environment
Experience of working in a customer facing environment
Recent experience of using Microsoft Excel to manipulate data
