We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the University Website service team and support the delivery of enterprise level web services across the organization. The recent move to a new, flexible, Web Publishing Platform offers a lot more exciting opportunities to engage with a global audience. The post holder will be a core part of not only delivering but improving the platform and the service to best serve the needs of the University and its audiences.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week). However, we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

What the job involves:

  • Managing and supporting University Website services and their users, in-line with ITIL processes.
  • Collaborate, develop and negotiate service definitions, routinely monitoring and reporting on usage, contributing to the review of service provision, including platform, workflows, processes and strategic direction.
  • Consult on, develop and maintain policies and procedures around the use of University Website services.
  • Gather user and business requirements, provide business analysis and support to ensure project objectives are met, and deliver enhanced service delivery to users.
  • Engage with a very large web publishing user community, including directly with schools, colleges and support departments, via a variety of channels and approaches.
