We have an exciting vacancy to join our friendly Services & Engagement Directorate within the Cambridge University Libraries, as Marketing Coordinator, at a time when we're making positive changes to the way we're working, which you would be a critical part of. This role will focus on developing and growing a strong supporter base from within the three key communities we serve ('students', 'scholars' and 'society'), by leading on specific for exhibition and event attendance, membership sign up and income generation campaigns to raise awareness and increase engagement.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Review our current marketing activity in specific areas and implement improvements and targeted campaigns using online/digital and traditional marketing channels to identified audience segments.
  • Produce activity calendars and project plans for a variety of work e.g. events programmes, new membership products, brochure production. 
  • Collaborate with internal Programming, Communication, Events and Membership colleagues and external agencies/suppliers on the timely production of online and print content.
  • Create content for a wide range of marketing collateral tailored to specific target audiences such as web pages, e-newsletters, posters, fliers, print and digital adverts, partner promotions, bus and radio campaigns.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of marketing activity using CRM data, web analytics, booking/sales information and qualitative feedback (e.g. focus groups).

The hours of work for the position are approximately 21.9 hours per week (0.6FTE). Working days and pattern are to be agreed to suit both the candidate and the organisation. We are open to flexible and hybrid working patterns but there is an expectation that the post holder will be based primarily on-site at the University Library.
