Lecturer in Engineering - Mechatronics

We are looking for a Lecturer in Engineering (Mechatronics) to join our team, where you will provide outstanding teaching to ensure that all our learners succeed and achieve their highest potential.

As a Lecturer in Engineering, you will deliver both practical and theoretical sessions within your specialism, positively engaging all learners within classes, using a range of effective techniques whilst utilising our excellent specialised resources.

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation and high learner performance through excellent standards of teaching and learning. In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed. Ideally, you will hold a Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

Not yet qualified but interested in getting into teaching?

If you have not previously worked within the Education sector but have considered a career move, you may be suitable for the Department of Education - Taking Teaching Further initiative, which employs industry specialists direct into Further Education. You will receive an enhanced support package whilst you gain a Teaching Qualification. This opportunity can be discussed at the interview stage.
